The company was established in 1972 by Mr. Jusuf Halim under the name of P.D. HALIM (P.D. is abbreviation of "Perusahaan Dagang" which means Trading Company). In September 1976, the company was reorganized to become Private Limited Company and the name changed to P.T. HALIM SAKTI In 1995, P.T HALIM SAKTI became a holding company of Halim Group and P.T. HALIM SAKTI PRATAMA is formed to continue the trading activities of P.T. HALIM SAKTI starting from April 1997.
